Support for our soldiers and their families is important. In the event that a member of the military is injured in the line of duty, or if tragedy strikes and the member dies, there are various types of benefits and support available to help and compensate the family.

Payments you can count on:
Payment of additional bonus in the amount of 100,000 UAH in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated February 28, 2022, No. 168.
One-time financial assistance, in accordance with Article 16 of the Law of Ukraine "On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and Their Families" and the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 25, 2013, No. 975.
The payment of additional bonus (combat) is made for the period of stay in inpatient treatment facilities (including foreign ones), including the time of transfer from one healthcare facility to another, as well as during leave for treatment after severe injury based on the conclusion (resolution) of the military medical (medical-expert, medical) commission (paragraph 1 of the Cabinet of Ministers resolution dated February 28, 2022, No. 168).
Amount of payment for injuries
In the event that a serviceman receives a disability, the amount of payments is determined in accordance with the Law of Ukraine On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and Their Families.
Disability of the I group: 400 times the subsistence minimum on January 1 of the calendar year for able-bodied persons.
Disability of the II group: 300 times the subsistence minimum on January 1 of the calendar year for able-bodied persons.
Disability of the III group: 250 times the subsistence minimum on January 1 of the calendar year for able-bodied persons.
In the case of a military serviceman receiving an injury that led to a partial loss of work capacity without establishing a disability, the amount of payment is determined by Resolution No. 975 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 25, 2013. It can be 70 times or 50 times the amount of the subsistence minimum as of January 1 of the calendar year for able-bodied persons.
How to get compensation for injuries
According to the legislation, to issue a payment to a serviceman, it is necessary to contact the head of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the head of the Regional Staff Military Medical Commission.
For a military serviceman, conscript and reservist, who is paid a one-time cash benefit in the event of disability or loss of working capacity without establishing his disability
